Project Self-Sufficiency Welcomes Thanksgiving Food Donations for Sussex County Families

Monetary donations to purchase food for Thanksgiving baskets are gratefully accepted each November.

Project Self-Sufficiency distributes complete Thanksgiving dinners to hundreds of local families each year.

Preferred food contributions include:

  • pumpkin or apple pies
  • canned vegetables, including yams and cranberry sauce
  • dinner rolls
  • gravy
  • stuffing
  • mashed potato mixes

Project Self-Sufficiency is delighted to accept the donation of frozen turkeys on the Monday prior to Thanksgiving.
