Project Self-Sufficiency is actively seeking volunteers of all ages to help in the following areas:

  • Tutors in the New Jersey Youth Corps High School Equivalency training and education program;

  • Reception desk;

  • Summer landscaping;

  • Assistance with gardening;

  • Clerical support;

  • Bi-lingual interpreters;

  • Mentors;

  • Parenting advice;

  • Art classes; 

  • Dance instruction;

  • Infant care;

  • Fundraising;

  • Donation drives;

  • Special events.

Extraordinary volunteers are honored annually at the Mosaic Awards.
