Project Self-Sufficiency's popular "Sister-to-Sister" Prom Shop was conceived by teenagers Isabella and Sophie Ilaria, who saw an opportunity to help other teens less fortunate than themselves.

Sisters Helping Sisters

They marshaled a group of friends and managed to collect 100 dresses to stock the initial Sister-to-Sister Prom Shop in 2008.

Serving Hundreds Annually

The Family Success Center at Project Self-Sufficiency distributes hundreds of elegant, new and gently-used dresses, shoes, wraps and hand bags every year, allowing area teens to enjoy their prom with grace and dignity.

How to Donate

Donations must be dry-cleaned and on a hanger. Gowns will be accepted January - April, and can be dropped off Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
