Program Director

Seeking experienced director to manage all aspects of afterschool program serving Newton, NJ students. Duties include program management, staff supervision, curriculum development, data management and evaluation, inter-agency coordination. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Full-time, 40+ hours per week. Bachelor's degree required. Position available July 1st.

Program Site Coordinator/Family Case Manager

Full-time coordinator needed to manage week day after school program for 4th grade students in the Newton School District, and provide family case management and supportive counseling for low-income individuals. Candidates will assist with program evaluation and parent communication; supervise academic support, physical and enrichment activities, and career and leadership development projects. Must have New Jersey Department of Education certification. Varied schedule; must be available early evenings. Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must. Bachelor's degree required.

Project Site Coordinator

Coordinator needed for weekday after school program for children grades 5 - 8. Candidates will assist with program evaluation and parent communication; supervise academic support, physical and enrichment activities, and career and leadership development projects. Must have New Jersey Department of Education certification. Varied schedule, 30 – 35 hours per week; must be available early evenings. Bachelor's degree required.

Program Facilitators

Multiple part-time, hourly facilitators needed for weekday after school program from September 2015 – June 2016 for children grades 4 - 8. Positions available at the elementary and middle school levels; 15+ hours per week, from 2:30 – 5:30 p.m. or from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. Provide academic support, physical and enrichment activities, and career and leadership development projects with students. Substitute teaching certificate required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Home Visitors

Home visitors needed to execute nationally recognized home visitation program for young parents in Sussex County. Bachelor's degree, transportation and computer skills required; Spanish-speaking a plus.

Nurse Home Visitors

Experienced nurses needed to provide comprehensive nursing services for pregnant women and their families in a home visiting environment. Candidates will provide prenatal care; nutrition counseling; assist patients and their families with establishing goals; educate participants about infant care, early childhood development, and positive health practices. Travel throughout Sussex, Warren and Hunterdon counties required; must have reliable transportation. Current R.N. and C.P.R. required. Two years recent experience in maternal/child health, public health, home visiting or mental/behavioral nursing preferred. Excellent written and verbal skills, and basic computer skills needed. Varied schedule includes some evenings. Spanish-speaking a plus.

Social Worker/Case Manager

Master's level professional needed to provide case management, group work and supportive counseling for low-income individuals. Experience working in a small, grassroots non-profit environment a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must. Master's degree required.

Daycare Center Coordinator

The Little Sprouts Early Learning Center seeks experienced Coordinator. Candidate will liaison with parents, and work with infants, toddlers and preschool-aged children in state-of-the-art childcare center. Minimum two years managerial experience and bachelor's degree required. Must be available early mornings and some evenings.

Evening Childcare Provider

Child care giver wanted, part time, evenings, 6:00 – 9:30 p.m. Experience preferred; Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development required.

Breast Health Program Coordinator

Coordinator needed to provide breast health education to local schools, community organizations, social service agencies; monitor community outreach; provide progress reports. Good organizational and communication skills a must; Bachelor's degree and experience required.

Spanish-Speaking Paraprofessional

Spanish language interpreter needed to accompany certified home visitors on client appointments in Sussex County. Varied schedule. Must have own transportation. Bachelor's degree preferred.
