GED Classes Are Available for New Jersey Residents Through Our Work Connections Literacy Program

Need help getting a GED? Are you struggling with English?

The Work Connections Family Literacy Program at Project Self-Sufficiency of Sussex County helps individuals to improve their own education and skills, while becoming an active partner in their family's education. Learning together is fun!

Work Connections Family Literacy Program is so much more than GED Classes – it is one of New Jersey's leading Family Literacy / GED Programs. It features:

Celebrity Readers make Reading Fun!

Once a month, participating families visit the Little Sprouts Early Learning Center to take part in the Celebrity Reader program, an event which features an invited guest reading a book aloud to the entire group.  Past Celebrity Readers have included municipal officials, state and local lawmakers, members of the agency's Board of Directors and other friends of Project Self-Sufficiency.

The Work Connections Family Literacy Program is FREE to all eligible individuals, and is funded by a grant from the New Jersey Department of Workforce Development. Services are offered on-site at Project Self-Sufficiency, Monday - Friday, with day and evening hours available.

For information about enrolling in the Work Connections Family Literacy program call 973-940-3500.
