Project Self-Sufficiency of Sussex County offers "Higher Opportunities for Women" Job Skills Training Program

The popular "Higher Opportunities for Women" job skills training program at Project Self-Sufficiency of Sussex County prepares women for entry-level office positions.

Rejuvenate your skills and boost your confidence! Participants receive:

  • 80 hours of computer skills training;
  • 40 hours of classroom instruction;
  • 120 hours of on-the-job work experience at a local employer.

Learn practical life skills. Receive career instruction. Get help with interview tactics and resume preparation.

The 16-week training program is free and open to area residents.

More than 700 women have graduated from the "HOW" program, gained marketable skills, and moved into the workforce. You can, too!

The next Higher Opportunities for Women program will start in Fall, 2014.

Free job training for women in NJ is available at Project Self-Sufficiency of Sussex County through our Higher Opportunities for Women program. As one of the top job training programs in NJ, it provides valuable skills to women throughout the area including the Sussex County municipalities of Newton, Andover Borough, Andover Township, Branchville Borough, Byram Township, Frankford Township, Franklin Borough, Fredon Township, Green Township, Hamburg Borough, Hampton Township, Hardyston Township, Hopatcong Borough, Lafayette Township, Montague Township, Ogdensburg Borough, Sandyston Township, Sparta Township, Stanhope Borough, Stillwater Township, Sussex Borough, Vernon Township, Walpack Township, and Wantage Township; and the Morris County municipalities of Jefferson Township, Lake Hopatcong, Netcong Borough, and Oak Ridge; and the Warren County municipalities of Allamuchy Township, Blairstown Township, Frelinghuysen Township, Hardwick Township and Hope Township, New Jersey (NJ).
