Low-Cost Food is Available through the Jolin Food Box Food Assistance Program at Project Self-Sufficiency of Sussex County

Fresh food is available in northern New Jersey at bargain prices through the Jolin Food Box food assistance program at Project Self-Sufficiency. The boxes of food offered by the Jolin Food Box program are priced from $22.00 - $40.00, approximately 60% lower than retail prices. The boxes are designed to feed individuals or groups of varying sizes. There are even special boxes just for kids!

Boxes include an assortment of frozen, refrigerated and grocery items, such as single entrees, assorted entrees, breakfast-lunch-dinner combinations and selections designed designed just for children. There is no limit to the number of boxes an individual or family can purchase, and the menu changes each month.

To place an order with this special food assistance program, call Project Self-Sufficiency at 973-940-3500 or 844-807-3500, or order online with a credit card. Payment is made when the order is placed. Boxes are picked up at Project Self-Sufficiency.

The new Jolin Food Box program was initiated by Jolin Foods, a company which has supplied area retail food stores with quality grocery, frozen and refrigerated food for more than 20 years. Jolin is partnering with non-profit organizations, churches, senior centers and housing projects to provide quality food items at wholesale prices.

Boxes are available for pick up at Project Self-Sufficiency between 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. on the scheduled delivery date. All registered participants will receive a call from the Jolin Food Box team to confirm the delivery time. The Jolin Food Box Program at Project Self-Sufficiency has been suspended until September, 2016.

The Food Assistance Program from Jolin Food Box helps those in need throughout the northern NJ area including the Sussex County municipalities of Newton, Andover Borough, Andover Township, Branchville Borough, Byram Township, Frankford Township, Franklin Borough, Fredon Township, Green Township, Hamburg Borough, Hampton Township, Hardyston Township, Hopatcong Borough, Lafayette Township, Montague Township, Ogdensburg Borough, Sandyston Township, Sparta Township, Stanhope Borough, Stillwater Township, Sussex Borough, Vernon Township, Walpack Township, and Wantage Township; and the Morris County municipalities of Jefferson Township, Lake Hopatcong, Netcong Borough, and Oak Ridge; and the Warren County municipalities of Allamuchy Township, Blairstown Township, Frelinghuysen Township, Hardwick Township and Hope Township, New Jersey (NJ).
